Laser Tattoo Removal Can Work For You
Laser tattoo removal is ideal for both men and women who thought they wanted a tattoo “forever” but have now changed their mind. It may not be suitable for those who have active infections or complications in the area to be treated. Our experienced laser technician will discuss your requirements and expectations, to achieve the most desirable results.
Spectra VRM Laser by Lutronic
One of the most expensive technologies available in the US for your laser tattoo removal. The Spectra laser is capable of producing four wavelengths to accommodate different skin types and conditions. The 532nm, 1064mn and color specific hand pieces produce energy outputs to photo-mechanically remove all types of colors in tattoos. The Spectra laser is an award-winning Q-switched Nd:YAG system. The top-hat beam profile, high peak power, and short pulse duration combine to significantly lighten or completely remove tattoos without harming surrounding healthy cells. When particles of tattoo ink absorb the laser light, they are broken into tiny fragments, which are absorbed through the body’s natural cleansing mechanism.
The Accolade™ Laser
The Cynosure Accolade™ Alexandrite Laser is the newest development of quality-switched lasers. Undesired tattoos can now be efficiently removed without scar formation or pigmentary changes. In fact, the Accolade is so safe and effective that even pigmented lesions can be treated! The Accolade laser is non-invasive, gentle and safe because it uses a principle known as selective photothermolysis. This means that the laser targets only the tattoo ink in the skin. Adjacent tissues are unaffected by the treatment.
How It Works
New FDA approved lasers provide greater power and more ink clearance than previous lasers with less risk for scaring and minimal discomfort. The unwanted tattoo is targeted by the device which emits a beam of intense light at a specific wavelength of 1064nm, 532nm, 585nm, 650nm or 755nm for different color spectrums. The laser will shatter tattoo ink into small particles, which will be cleared by lymph drainage. The number of treatments will be determined by the quality, color and age of the tattoo. Over the course of a short series of sessions, the targeted tattoo will gradually fade then disappear.
